In-N-Out Burger has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Marketing Graphic Designer I based in our Irvine, CA* location. This position is primarily responsible supporting the creative team by executing design solutions for day-to-day projects using established brand guidelines while developing foundational skills in In-N-Out Burger's brand identity and design standards.
The Marketing team at In-N-Out Burger works on a wide variety of projects with an emphasis on offering creative and personal development opportunities; encouraging each team member to continually grow their knowledge and skill set. The team strives to foster a culture of collaboration in order to achieve larger goals in a supportive environment.
*This position is full-time, in-office only.
General Responsibilities
  • Execute design solutions for smaller-scale projects including social media posts, digital ads, web banners, emails, flyers, event materials, and in-store campaigns using pre-approved visual directions to support marketing initiatives and brand consistency.
  • Adapt and version existing creative assets by applying established look and feel to various formats and platforms to maintain cohesive brand messaging across all materials.
  • Edit and retouch photos and preexisting creative materials to meet project specifications and ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Prepare production files and create editable templates from approved creative to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project managers and social/digital coordinators to fulfill design requests that support marketing efforts for food promotions, events, foundations, and merchandise.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with team members to contribute fresh perspectives and support creative problem-solving.
  • Support team continuity by assisting with project coverage when team members are unavailable to ensure timely delivery of materials.

  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00 pm
  • Department needs may call for occasional overtime and availability outside of regular hours
  • Role will require occasional travel 10-20% of the time

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in graphic design software or tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) are desirable.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in graphic design, with a portfolio demonstrating foundational design skills.
  • Experience with social media graphics, digital design, and print materials is preferred.

Work Location Details
In-N-Out Burger plans to bring its west coast headquarters team back together under one roof by the end of 2029. After maintaining two Southern California office locations for many years, the company will permanently close its Irvine office in 2029 and once again headquarter the company's western territory solely in Baldwin Park, California, where the company was founded in 1948.
Newly hired Associates in Irvine will be eligible to participate in the group move to Tennessee with relocation assistance or work from our western headquarters in Baldwin Park, CA, upon its opening in 2029. We are sharing this information early so candidates can make informed decisions while considering a career with In-N-Out Burger.
