Job Description

Create spots based on a brief, shot list, script and/or screenplay

Performs video editing in both short and long form and animated graphics using Final Cut Pro and After Effects

Animate logos, copy and images as required by each video's storyboard

Select / suggest music for spots as needed

Assist in the creative design and storyboarding of each promotional piece

Work in After Effects to produce high-end motion graphics

Filming of interviews and behind-the-scenes footage

Quality control of content in your specialism

Deliver content on schedule and within technical limitations

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred 

Understanding of Camera and lighting setups

Understanding of the green screen process

Understanding of video formats and output requirements

Experience in both short and long form editing

Experience of a non-linear editing package 

Experience of video editing

Knowledge of compositing digital files and elements

Knowledge of a 3D package 

Deep knowledge of After Effects

Deep Knowledge of Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator

Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator 

Proficiency in building After Effects compositions 

Must be pro-active and an independent problem solver

Must be an extremely fast learner

Must be exceptionally detail oriented and organized 

Must be creative and be able to think outside the box for unconventional solutions 

Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and to work well under pressure

Ability to both work independently and work well with others, to be patient with others, and to take/follow direction
