Attract audiences to new movies and TV shows with your original marketing motion designs.

RUN Studios, and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking a Motion Designer to join our creative team as a dedicated contractor for a 4-month project.

The Motion Designer will support our client’s production studios in creating motion graphic design and animation creative for single title marketing campaigns, multi-title brand and streaming platform promotions. You will be responsible for creating marketing materials for original titles in entertainment, specifically movies and TV shows. This work also includes graphic resizing and brand work, such as creating UI for the studios.

As a Motion Designer, You Will

  • Responsible for visually communicating company brand aesthetics as they relate to video & digital marketing and content including trailers, tv spots, sizzles, brand promos and social pieces.
  • Collaborate and execute creative and engaging design and motion that translates the company and show’s tone and message.
  • Work with project and production management to ensure timely and affordable delivery of all creative.
  • Translate project goals into creative magic that positions Prime Video and single title creative vision to consumers, marketing partners, and internal audiences.
  • Strive to ensure that all motion graphic designs created are consistent to each other or within brand guidelines, on or off platform.
  • Strive for creative excellence and creative innovation that will enhance the project’s profile, company brand and team spirit.
  • Work closely with editors, creative directors, producers, project managers to estimate and manage project budgets and schedules.

In This Role, You Bring

  • 5+ years of professional experience in motion design in streaming, film, and television marketing.
  • Advanced skills in design and animation software/technologies.
  • Experience in Maya and/or Cinema 4D.
  • Portfolio highlighting previous work for a streamer or agency.
  • Strong style frames and typography skills, toolkits.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expert in Mac, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work effectively under changing priorities, deadlines, and daily time constraints.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in designing and creating multiple campaigns in print and on-air.
  • Current knowledge of the AI tooling and applications for motion graphic design.
  • Experience leading creative development from concept to delivery.
  • Experience navigating complex internal and external creative partnerships.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines.

Compensation

Pay Range: $40.00 - $54.75 (Hourly)    

The successful candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.  

Benefits:

Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
