MOTION DESIGNER

Job Summary

Join our dynamic creative team as a Motion Designer, where you'll continue to grow your expertise through ongoing training, mentorship, and hands-on project experience. This role offers the opportunity to expand your skills in motion graphics, video editing, and multimedia production while contributing to a wide range of creative projects.

As a member of the studio team, you will be responsible for creating compelling motion graphic animations for both fully animated and mixed-media productions, as well as performing video editing, compositing, color correction, audio finishing, and final mastering for delivery across multiple platforms. You'll collaborate closely with designers, producers, and creative leads to bring concepts to life, applying strong storytelling, animation, and post-production techniques to deliver polished, engaging content. Opportunities to support live-action productions may also arise as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Project Contribution & Creative Execution:
    • Act independently as project lead from inception to final delivery on small Adcom video productions.
    • Act as project lead on mid-sized Adcom video productions with oversight from senior staff.
    • Have a core competency in tools such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
    • Develop creative concepts as part of a team.
    • Effectively present creative concepts both internally and to clients.
    • Have a basic understanding of live-action production.
    • Have a basic understanding of 3D workflows.
    • Have a basic understanding of professional color grading.
  • Project Management:
    • Estimate the scope and time requirements of tasks accurately with
    • Create effective production schedules and timelines.
