Job description

Hiebing is a passionate, full-service crew fueled by curiosity and collaboration. Our teams in Madison and Austin work together to craft meaningful stories for brands we love and pro bono causes we believe in. We believe in We Before Me, where the team has your back, and a Yes And mindset, where good ideas get better when others build on them.

We’re looking for an inspired Motion Designer / Video Editor to join our small and mighty video production team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with writers, art directors, creative directors, and content specialists to bring ideas to life through motion graphics, animation, and video editing.

You’ll work across a wide range of projects—from logo animation and social content to digital video and brand commercials—and play a meaningful role in shaping how ideas show up in the world.

Hiebing is an agency, which means the pace is dynamic and the work is varied. This role is best suited for someone who feels energized by momentum, enjoys juggling multiple creative asks, and can adapt quickly without losing attention to detail. If you thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment where your work gets seen and shared, you’ll feel right at home.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in motion design and video editing
  • Highly skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Comfortable working with expressions in After Effects to create complex animations
  • Primarily 2D animation experience (3D animation is a plus but not necessary)
  • Fearlessness toward AI in streamlining workflows and elevating outputs
  • Ability to apply thoughtful creative judgment when using AI-enabled tools, ensuring work remains original, strategically sound, and aligned with client goals and brand standards
  • Leverage AI-enabled creative tools to explore ideas, accelerate concept development, and support creative execution, while ensuring final work reflects Hiebing's standards for strategic thinking, creativity, and craft
  • A strong eye for detail and visual storytelling
  • Comfort managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • A portfolio showcasing motion and video work
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

Why Hiebing:
Smart, kind people. Real collaboration. Work that matters.

Benefits include: Hybrid work flexibility, health + dental insurance, paid parental leave, matching 401(k) + profit sharing, a professional development fund and many more!

Portfolio required.
