MOT Manager
Summary
The position of MOT Manager will coordinate all traffic control activities for the project.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee all Traffic Control operations and personnel.

  • Ensure safety and compliance with the Traffic Management plan in all Traffic Control operations.

  • Develop a Traffic Management Plan developed in conjunction with project Construction Managers.

  • Implement, manage, and maintain Traffic Control Field operations compliant with the Traffic Management Plan.

  • Coordinate with construction management to ensure timely traffic control operations in support of construction activities.

  • Communicate traffic operations with PR and other applicable departments.

  • Provide limited supervision to others through motivation, direction, review and feedback of assigned tasks.

  • Ensure all responsibilities of Segment Traffic Control Coordinator(s) and Traffic Control Assistant(s) are carried out and performed in consistent compliance with the Traffic Management Plan.

  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.

Minimum Requirements
  • Certified by Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) in "Work Zone traffic Control".

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience of progressive responsibility in similar positions.

  • Experience on large highway, bridge/structures, paving, and/or utility relocation projects as a contractor.
