The School The role is within our School of Applied Sciences and Technology.

The School offers a variety of programming in Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Sciences, and Animal Health Technology. Through this programming, we offer a variety of certificates, diplomas, university transfer courses, as well as a degree in computing science. The Role The Humanities and Social Sciences Department has launched a social work diploma program in 2025-2026.

The program has a rural, northern, and Indigenous focus and emphasizes social practice in those contexts. The Department requires a full-time faculty member in social work to Work with the program coordinator to teach the required courses for the program Support coordination of practicum placements and work with the program coordinator on developing connections and cultivating practicum placements in the community Contribute to ongoing program development, including the planned BSW degree This full-time position will commence August 15, 2026.
