Job description

COMPANY OVERVIEW
Moss is a national privately held construction firm providing innovative solutions resulting in award-winning projects. With regional offices across the United States, Moss focuses on construction management, solar EPC, and design-build. The company's diverse portfolio encompasses a wide range of sectors, including luxury high-rise residential, landmark mixed-use developments, hospitality, K-12 and higher education, justice, solar energy and battery storage, and sports. Moss is ranked by Engineering News-Record as the nation's top solar contractor and one of the top 50 general contractors. Moss prides itself on a strong entrepreneurial culture that honors safety, quality, client engagement, and employee development. Its employees consistently rank Moss as one of the best places to work.
POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
Moss' Change Management Manager will own, execute, and influence the impact of comprehensive change management for initiatives sponsored by the Finance organization. This individual will serve as a strategic advisor and hands-on practitioner, guiding leaders and teams through complex transformations with discipline, empathy, and measurable impact. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in the Prosci methodology and ADKAR model, organizational dynamics, adult learning, and thrives in fast-paced, matrixed environments. This manager-level role measures its positive impact in enthusiastic team member adoption, resistance mitigation, and ensuring the organization realizes the full benefits of the intended future state.
The first initiative on which this position will focus is the implementation of the Oracle Fusion ERP. The successful candidate will work independently with external implementation partners, align change initiatives with organizational goals, and serve as Moss's primary change management resource throughout all phases of the Oracle Fusion rollout.
The ideal candidate is a go-getter with finance and accounting domain knowledge, proven Prosci expertise, and hands-on experience leading the people side of large-scale ERP transformations. This individual must be comfortable operating with significant autonomy, partnering directly with implementation consultants, and driving results without close supervision.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement end-to-end change management strategies and plans to support Oracle Fusion implementation objectives across all project phases (Prepare, Manage, Sustain)
  • Work independently with Oracle Fusion implementation partners to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan, ensuring people-side milestones are built into technical timelines
  • Ensure implementation partner's methodology and deliverables meet Moss change standards
  • Conduct change impact assessments and organizational readiness evaluations specific to Oracle Fusion modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management)
  • Apply the Prosci 3-Phase Process and ADKAR framework to ensure individual and organizational adoption of new finance and accounting processes, systems, and workflows
  • Gain accelerated understanding of Moss's organizational dynamics, to ensure stakeholder analyses accurately identify key influencers, change champions, and at-risk populations quickly becoming a guide to implementation partners to help move information and action through the organization
  • Partner with internal communication resources to design and execute targeted communication plans that articulate the business case for change, the vision for the Oracle Fusion platform, and role-specific impacts to diverse audiences
  • Partner with Training resources to deliver training and enablement plans tailored to finance and accounting end-users, ensuring role-based knowledge transfer for Oracle Fusion processes and functionality
  • Activate and coach executive sponsors and people managers in their critical roles as communicators, advocates, and resistance managers throughout the implementation
  • Identify, analyze, and proactively address resistance to change; develop and execute risk mitigation tactics for anticipated and emerging adoption barriers
  • Define and track adoption, usage, and proficiency metrics; report on change management activities, progress, and effectiveness to leadership
  • Partner with business process owners to embed new Oracle Fusion practices into standard operating procedures, policies, and performance expectations
  • Establish feedback loops (surveys, listening sessions, retrospectives) and adjust change tactics based on real-time insights and data
  • Recommend and implement reinforcement strategies (recognition programs, coaching, accountability mechanisms) to prevent regression to legacy processes
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to refining enterprise change management standards and playbook for future enterprise initiatives
  • Be a generous collaborator with other change management professionals across Moss, sharing insights, learning and resources
  • Collaborate with the strategy team and project leadership to align change initiatives with broader organizational and finance transformation goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in change management, organizational development, or transformation roles, with a strong focus on finance and accounting functions. Proven track record leading change management efforts on large-scale ERP or enterprise technology implementations
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, Change Management, or a related field
  • Prosci Change Management Certification with demonstrated application of the ADKAR model across complex, multi-stakeholder programs
  • True passion and joy in helping team members transition to a future state - show us you love this field (it's not just a career, it's a vocation)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing the full scope of change management activities autonomously
  • Experience partnering directly with external implementation consultants and system integrators on large-scale technology programs
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Strong analytical skills to assess change impacts, interpret adoption data, and translate insights into actionable plans
  • Familiarity with project management practices and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation or similar large-scale ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Workday) preferred
  • Significant hands-on experience in finance and accounting operations, including familiarity with core financial processes (e.g., procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, period-close)
  • Direct experience managing change for finance transformation initiatives, including system consolidation, process standardization, or shared services transitions
  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) designation through ACMP preferred
  • Experience building and scaling organizational change management practices or centers of excellence
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks
  • Background in coaching, leadership development, or adult learning principles
  • Experience with change management tools, communication platforms, and collaboration software (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or equivalent)
