What You'll Do as a Mortgage Sales Manager:
• Maintain personal mortgage production by originating residential loans while meeting volume, revenue, and quality expectations.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Mortgage Consultants to achieve production, revenue, and service goals.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top mortgage talent aligned with organizational growth strategies.
• Build and maintain strong referral networks with realtors, builders, financial advisors, and community partners.
• Oversee pipeline management and track key performance metrics such as loan volume, pull-through rates, cycle time, and member experience.
• Provide ongoing sales coaching, training, and performance feedback to elevate individual and team effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, investor, and credit union policies, including NMLS and underwriting guidelines.
• Partner with mortgage operations, underwriting, and processing teams to ensure timely closings and high-quality loan delivery.
• Monitor loan quality, documentation, and post-closing performance, addressing issues proactively.
• Stay current on mortgage products, pricing, market trends, and local real estate conditions.
• Promote adoption of technology and streamlined processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Represent the credit union in the community through networking, events, and industry engagement.
