We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Lender to join our team in South Sioux City, NE. You will help clients navigate the home-buying process and find the best financing solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in mortgage closing operations. You will manage the loan process from origination through closing while ensuring compliance and top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Originate residential mortgage loans by evaluating applicant financial profiles.
  • Guide borrowers through the process from application to final loan closing.
  • Review financial documentation including tax returns, credit reports, and income statements.
  • Collaborate with processors and underwriters to ensure accurate loan documentation.
  • Maintain active knowledge of local real estate markets, compliance regulations, and lending products.
  • Develop relationships with real estate agents, builders, and community partners to generate leads.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience in mortgage closing or processing.
  • Licensing: Active NMLS license (or ability to obtain quickly upon hire).
