We are seeking a organized and proactive Loan Modification Specialist to join our team. As a Loan Modification Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and executing mortgage loan modifications, partial claims, and deferments in accordance with investor, agency, and state-specific guidelines. This role will help facilitate sustainable retention solutions and support our commitment to excellent customer service.


In This Role, You Will:

  • Prepare, review, and process mortgage loan modification applications, partial claims, and deferments
  • Ensure all documentation and submissions comply with investor, agency, and state-specific guidelines
  • Work with legal counsel, title companies, and internal departments to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Track and report on loan modification department pipeline
  • Analyze financial information, payment processing, and transactions, to determine eligibility and appropriate modification options
  • Other job duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • 6+ months experience in residential real estate lending, residential loan processing, loan closing, loan servicing or a combination of education and experience in related fields
  • Proven experience in mortgage loan modifications, loss mitigation, or related roles, preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
