Mortgage Customer Service Specialist (Irving, TX)
Agility 360 is searching for experienced MORTGAGE Industry Personnel interested in a contract-to-hire, ONSITE Customer Service role in the Irving, Texas area. The Mortgage Customer Service Specialist will be tasked with a variety of duties and responsibilities such as updating database with insurance for various collateral. Ensuring delivery of high quality and accurate customer service while maintaining solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism. This position receives inbound calls and completes outbound calls.. Knowledge areas include: Mortgage Originations and Servicing. Working additional inbound interactions such as real time chats and emails.
Responsibilities
  • Provides timely and accurate information to incoming borrower calls, as well as outgoing.
  • Handle servicing for mortgages that may be delinquent as well as current accounts.
  • Answer general account information pertaining to mortgage loan inquiries
  • Take payments from customers over the phone
  • Help customers navigate the website for payment and account information
  • Identify financial hardships and connect borrower with their loss mitigation agent
  • Responsible for meeting legal requirements and following internal policies

Qualifications / Skills
  • 2-5 years prior Customer service experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of phone experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel, Word
  • Typing speed of 25 WPM
  • Customer/Client Focus
  • Previous Mortgage Industry experience REQUIRED
  • Education & Professional Experience: Graduation from a credited High School (Diploma) or GED is required. Entry level role, minimal experienced required.
  • Critical Thinking Skills: Use of clear, concise and effective and strong oral communication; accurately composes written materials as required by the position. Handle confidential information in a responsible manner. Ability to convey thoughts in a focused and concrete manner..
