SimplyPMG is seeking a motivated and experienced Corporate Trainer – Mortgage Sales to support the growth and success of our Sales and Operations teams through engaging training, coaching, and development initiatives. This fully remote position plays a critical role in training new team members, enhancing sales performance, and ensuring employees have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced mortgage environment.

The Corporate Trainer partners closely with Sales Leadership, Operations, and Learning & Development to deliver high-quality training programs, evaluate performance, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing others, possesses strong mortgage industry knowledge, and thrives in a collaborative, performance-driven culture.


Qualifications:


  • Develop and facilitate engaging and standardized onboarding training curriculum and programs for newly hired Loan Officers and support staff, ensuring a successful transition into their roles.
  • Deliver ongoing sales, systems, product, and process training that reinforces best practices and supports continuous professional development.
  • Conduct call monitoring, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations to identify strengths, opportunities, and individualized development plans.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to monitor trainee progress, communicate performance trends, and address attendance, engagement, and behavioral concerns in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain current knowledge of mortgage products, lending guidelines, compliance requirements, and industry trends to ensure training materials remain accurate and relevant.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development and department leaders to create, update, and enhance training content, job aids, and learning resources.
  • Support the implementation and rollout of new products, systems, initiatives, and company programs through effective training and change management.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees by providing ongoing guidance, mentorship, and support throughout their development journey.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs by measuring learner engagement, knowledge retention, and post-training performance outcomes.
Requirements:



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage sales, mortgage operations, training, coaching, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of residential mortgage lending, loan origination, sales processes, and customer engagement.
  • Previous experience facilitating virtual instructor-led training, coaching, or adult learning programs preferred.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and motivate individuals with varying levels of experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret performance data and develop effective training strategies.
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and committed to delivering measurable results.
  • Working knowledge of mortgage regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
  • NMLS license is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms; experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
