Radio Morning Show Host - WHDG Hodag Country 97.3 FM

We are seeking an energetic and engaging Morning Show Radio Host to join our dynamic country music station. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate communicator who loves connecting with audiences and creating lively, entertaining broadcasts that resonate with country music fans. If you have a flair for storytelling, a warm personality, and a love for country music, we want to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:

- Host and produce engaging morning radio shows that entertain, inform, and connect with our audience

- Deliver country music content, artist interviews, and station promotions seamlessly throughout the broadcast

- Engage with listeners via phone calls, social media, and live interactions to foster a strong community presence

- Coordinate with Program Director to plan show segments, special features, and promotional events

- Stay updated on country music trends, news, and artist releases to keep content fresh and relevant

- Manage on-air equipment and ensure smooth broadcast operations


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience, 3+ Years of On-Air Experience, preferably in the Country format

- Excellent verbal communication and storytelling skills

- Strong knowledge of country music, artists, and industry trends

- Ability to engage and entertain a diverse audience

- Comfortable working early mornings and adapting to live broadcast environments
