As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You may assist with sensitive situations, including supporting staff during patient restraints and working near morgue areas. Day Time

Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and suspicious activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Be able to restrain individuals.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
