Job description

The Lube Technician (Express Service Technician) for our CDJR dealership is responsible for performing routine maintenance services on vehicles while delivering a fast, accurate, and professional customer experience. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow a career in automotive service, with opportunities for training and advancement within the dealership. Vehicle Maintenance & Inspections

  • Perform oil and filter changes in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Rotate and balance tires as required
  • Perform multi-point vehicle inspections (including MPI video) and accurately document findings
  • Check and top off fluids (engine oil, coolant, washer fluid, transmission fluid when applicable)
  • Replace engine air filters and cabin air filters

Quality & Safety

  • Follow all CDJR factory procedures and dealership safety guidelines
  • Properly use shop equipment, tools, and lifts
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Report any vehicle damage, safety concerns, or needed repairs immediately

Customer & Team Support

  • Communicate inspection results clearly to service advisors
  • Support advisors by recommending needed maintenance based on vehicle condition
  • Work efficiently to meet express service time standards
  • Assist with shop cleanliness and workflow as needed

Training & Growth

  • Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn advanced automotive skills
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive repair
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Prior lube/express technician experience preferred but not required
  • CDJR or Mopar experience is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, and work on feet for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
