General Cardiology Opportunity in Detroit, Michigan

You've built your training to take great care of patients, now step into an outpatient cardiology role designed for thoughtful, prevention-focused care. This is a General Cardiology position with a stable weekday schedule and a team-based model centered on senior patients. If you enjoy clinical leadership, collaboration, and time to practice medicine without production pressure, this opportunity is worth exploring.


Practice Overview:


  • 100% outpatient General Cardiology, no inpatient coverage and no interventional work
  • Consults + follow-ups with longer visit times; average 15-20 patients/day
  • Collaborative care team with PCPs, care managers, and health coaches
  • Clinical leadership opportunities (education, protocol support, CHF initiatives)

Schedule:


  • Monday-Friday predictable clinic schedule
  • No call and no weekends
  • Outpatient-only workflow: no TEEs, no STEMI, no cath, no moonlighting
  • Multi-center support model available for physicians who like variety across sites

Compensation & Benefits:


  • Base salary: 450,000 for practicing physicians (425,000 for fellows)
  • Up to 10% annual quality bonus (value-based; no RVUs / no production metrics)
  • Signing bonus and relocation assistance
  • Benefits include malpractice coverage, 401(k) match up to 6%, 33 days PTO + holidays, and CME (3,500 + 5 days)
