Job Description

The Department of Psychiatry at Henry Ford Health is seeking American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) board-certified or board-eligible outpatient psychiatrists to moonlight Henry Ford Health in Detroit, and Macomb, Michigan hospitals.

As a member of the Henry Ford Medical Group—one of the largest and most respected physician organizations in the country—you will join a collaborative, physician-led environment that emphasizes interdisciplinary teamwork, collegiality, and open communication across a robust clinical network.

Henry Ford Behavioral Health Services (BHS) is Michigan’s leading provider of integrated mental health care, delivering comprehensive, patient-centered services across the continuum of care. Our dedicated, diverse, and highly skilled teams are unified by a shared commitment to clinical excellence and our ongoing pursuit of behavioral health care—care that is safe, effective, equitable, and patient-focused.

Qualifications

  • ABPN board certified in Psychiatry, or board eligible (must achieve board certification within three years of eligibility)

  • Interest in outpatient psychiatry

  • Pediatric psychiatrists are encouraged to apply

  • Interest in teaching and participation in GME activities preferred
