The Kind of Work You'll be Doing:

  • Manage Core Doctrine and Institute of Biblical Studies (IBS) virtual courses in Moodle.
  • Regularly communicate with staff about courses, answers questions coming to the IBS mailboxes, addresses technical issues staff encounter, advertises courses.
  • Maintain accurate academic records (creates courses, tracks deferrals, records grades, posts grades, generates reports, and processes seminary credits and graduation forms)
  • Support all IBS courses administratively (including on-site at Rollins, Orlando, Lake Hart) through advertising courses, communicating with and answering questions from staff about courses, setting up a learning management system (Canvas / Moodle) for courses as needed, and communicating with those in working relationships to carry out administrative responsibilities.
  • Develop, update, and troubleshoot virtual courses, IBS website, and Workvivo.
  • Manage registration and payment process for courses using the ERT (Event Registration System)
  • Ensure staff have a quality learning experience by gathering regular course feedback through the Survey Monkey tool for course leaders and utilizes it in improving virtual courses.
  • Maintain and develop vendor (Moodle, FedEx, etc.) partnership relationships to support job responsibilities.
  • Manage the approval workflow and documentation for the Continuing Education and Graduate Study program.
  • Work with National Seminary Partners to process, document, and verify graduate credit for courses.
