Mood Care Psychological Services is seeking fully licensed Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) for a fulfilling full-time remote role in San Diego, California. This position offers an annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, depending on experience and credentials, along with a competitive sign-on bonus for new team members.

Our therapists enjoy the flexibility of working remotely, allowing for a more balanced work-life dynamic. While this role primarily occurs in a virtual setting, you will also have opportunities to engage with team members and clients in our outpatient office setting as needed. Our interdisciplinary team includes licensed therapists, case managers, and psychiatrists, allowing for comprehensive and collaborative care for our clients.

• Conduct thorough assessments for new clients to identify their mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that effectively address their concerns.
• Deliver a range of evidence-based therapy services, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Collaborate with team members, including case managers and psychiatrists, to coordinate holistic care, ensuring all aspects of a client's well-being are addressed.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients experiencing acute psychological distress or emergencies, applying clinical knowledge and compassion.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting our services within the community.

Your work will serve a broad spectrum of clients from varying cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. You’ll engage with individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By working with diverse populations, you will enrich your clinical experience and enhance your cultural competence, ultimately improving client outcomes.

• A valid and independent license to practice as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or PsyD in California.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport and build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively work with diverse client populations, respecting different backgrounds and needs.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple clients and maintain accurate documentation.

• Previous experience working in a community mental health setting or outpatient therapy environment.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient client management and documentation.
