The Role

This is a three-month temporary position. You will operate state-of-the-art printing presses to deliver high-quality printing and finishing services for film, paper, and specialty materials. Working alongside 160 employee-owners in a collaborative environment, you'll monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our comprehensive training program while serving essential markets including food, consumer goods, industrial, and healthcare.

Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique 2-2-3 schedule

  • Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
  • Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
  • 12-hour static shifts (Nights - 6:00pm – 6:00am) (Days - 6:00am - 6:00pm)

What You'll Do
  • Safely operate the gamma winder, duplex winder and bag machine performing a variety of tasks
  • Rewinding, trimming and slitting rolls
  • Fixing profile issues on finished goods
  • Pack skids using corner boards, slip sheets,headers and proper taping
  • Maintain a clean, organized, “set in order” and “shine” environment in the work areas
  • Assistother areas of productionwith tasks when needs demand
  • Open stockand cut cores
  • Use forklift and clamp truck to move material throughout the plant
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
  • Strong communication skills and positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Basic computer skills including email, data entry,operatingwithin multiple systems
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on needs of the business including overtime hours

Compensation

Starting Salary: 

  • Wages starting at $22.00 per hour
