Description
Join PMC SMART Solutions and help manufacture technology that saves lives!
We are seeking a detail-oriented Metrology Technician for a 6-month temporary assignment. This position has the potential to transition into a full-time role based on business needs and project activity, although permanent employment is not guaranteed.
Compensation
• $23.00-$30.00/hour, based on experience
• Higher pay available for candidates with CMM programming experience
Schedule
• Monday-Friday
• Flexible start time between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM
• Standard 8-hour shift
• Optional four 10-hour days for interested candidates
• Experienced candidates may also be eligible for a flexible weekend/weekday schedule
What You'll Do
• Perform precise dimensional measurements of parts independently
• Conduct 100% layouts and attribute inspections
• Create and maintain Control Plan measurement programs
• Collect and document inspection data
• Interpret engineering drawings (training available)
• Support data analysis and reporting
• Assist with developing inspection methods and technical documentation (preferred)
• Program CMM and/or Vision Systems (preferred)
