Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital in East Norriton, PA is a 175-bed facility offering advanced medical and surgical services, including cardiac, cancer, orthopedic, and maternity care. We are seeking a General Anesthesiologist to join our team.
Job Description
ANESTHESIOLOGIST - GENERAL
Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital, a 175-bed state-of-the-art facility in East Norriton, PA, offers comprehensive medical and surgical services, including cardiac care, oncology, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and family-centered maternity care. As a training site for Jefferson residents and fellows, the hospital delivers high-quality care to central Montgomery County. We are currently seeking a General Anesthesiologist to join our team - new graduates are welcome and well-supported.
THE POSITION:
  • Join 6 anesthesiologists and 19 CRNA on site as well as an integrated anesthesia department of 29 physicians and 40+ CRNAs

  • Provide anesthesia for cases including orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, plastic surgery, urology in hospital and ambulatory settings.

  • Support ~5000 cases across hospital OR / ASC / endoscopy center

  • 5 operating rooms / EPS / IR / GI / OB / ASC / endoscopy

  • No trauma or transplants or cardiac / very minimal pediatrics and neurosurgery

  • Weekday shifts usually 7a-3p; overtime hours after 4pm

  • Weekday call starts at 7pm; call day off or paid OT if you come in early.

  • Call is in-house 1:8 with post call day always off

  • Salary based on 40 hour work week including weekend shifts - extra hours result in extra pay.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • MD or DO From an Accredited Program - Required

  • Completion of an Accredited Anesthesiology Residency - Required

  • Appropriate Licenses and Certifications - Required
