Medical City Arlington
Shift: Full-time, Nights (7 p - 7 a) with rotating weekends

Job Summary and Qualifications
Views patient monitors on a continual basis and informs nursing staff of any significant changes in activity immediately; accesses assistance in responding to noted changes in patients and others exhibiting signs of a heart attack, stroke or respiratory distress. Requires basic understanding of dysrythmias. Mastery of the English language and requires knowledge, ability, and judgment to:
  • Make critical rhythm interpretations
  • Communicate rhythm changes to staff nurse or charge nurse.
  • Numerical ability to make simple arithmetic calculations
  • Apply basic understanding of the function and inter-relationship of each hospital department.
  • Organize and complete work assigned
  • Anticipate the needs of physicians, nurses and other hospital departments
  • Communicate the needs of patients, families and visitors in a professional and timely manner recognizing life threatening signs and symptoms of heart attack, stroke and respiratory distress.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • No Travel Required
  • No experience Required
