Employees can work from anywhere, maintaining a consistent 9:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule Monday through Friday. • Conduct thorough crisis assessments and interventions for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, determining immediate needs and developing action plans.
• Provide timely counseling and support to individuals seeking help, ensuring they feel safe and heard throughout the process.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary to ensure client safety during crises.
• Deliver ongoing follow-up care to clients, recommending resources or additional treatment options tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Utilize effective crisis intervention strategies and de-escalation techniques to navigate challenging situations, all while adhering to ethical standards of practice.
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance skills in crisis counseling and stay updated on best practices within the field.

The population served consists primarily of individuals confronting addiction issues who may also experience co-occurring mental health disorders. • A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from a regionally accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) designation is required.

• Specialization or additional training in crisis counseling, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practices is strongly preferred.
