About the Organization

Cape Cod Physical Therapy prides itself on being a leading provider of rehabilitative services in New Jersey. Our team consists of board-certified Physical Therapists who are passionate about improving the lives of children and adults with a range of diagnoses. With a commitment to fostering a culture of wellness, we emphasize a supportive and comprehensive approach to patient care that encompasses physical, emotional, and social well-being.

This position is based in our outpatient office located in East Brunswick, where you will work directly with patients in a centralized office setting. The therapy environment is collaborative, allowing for direct communication with fellow health professionals while providing hands-on care to clients. Emphasizing a positive atmosphere, we encourage flexibility, allowing you to choose your work hours between Monday and Friday to best fit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients returning from injury, surgery, or illness to formulate appropriate treatment plans.
  • Utilize a wide array of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to exercise regimens, stretching exercises, and hands-on manual therapy, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, goals, and progress, focusing on achieving optimal physical function.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, responses, and progress, while continuously updating treatment goals based on patient development.
  • Assess the necessity of assistive devices and ensure proper fitting and training is provided to patients and caregivers.
  • Educate patients, their families, and other healthcare team members on the use of therapeutic equipment and physical therapy protocols.
  • Stay current in the field by engaging in educational workshops, networking events, and reviewing the latest research and publications related to physical therapy.

Our outpatient facility services a diverse patient population, ranging from children recovering from sports injuries to older adults dealing with post-operative rehabilitation. We recognize the unique challenges faced by each demographic and are committed to providing tailored therapy that respects individual needs and promotes overall health and recovery.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with an impeccable record free from any sanctions or board proceedings.
  • Exceptional proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and modalities.
  • Proven ability to design and implement effective exercise programs that drive patient success.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for maintaining accurate and precise documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient settings, particularly with diverse patient populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex cases requiring creative problem-solving and adaptive treatment strategies.
  • History of leadership or mentorship roles, contributing to the professional growth of peers or new graduates.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, alongside an attractive benefits package that enhances your overall quality of life, including:

  • Sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
  • Flexible work schedule to promote a healthy work/life balance.
  • Comprehensive mentorship programs for new graduates to ensure a smooth transition into practice.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance to ensure you and your family are covered.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with discretionary employer matching to help you save for your future.
  • Life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance for additional peace of mind.
  • Generous paid time off policy to support your health and personal commitments.
  • Continuing education credits to support your professional development and keep you at the forefront of the field.
