Human Resources Customer Service Representative

Location: onsite
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Paid Training: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM EST
Pay: $17/hr.

Position Overview

We are hiring Human Resources Customer Service Representatives to provide customer service support to employees and former employees with questions related to Human Resources and employee benefits.

This position is ideal for candidates with recent call center, customer service, HR, or benefits experience who are comfortable handling inbound calls, documenting customer interactions, researching issues, and navigating multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from employees and former employees regarding Human Resources and benefits questions.
  • Provide accurate information and resolve customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Explain HR and benefits policies, procedures, and processes in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Document customer interactions, transactions, and case information accurately.
  • Research outstanding issues and follow up through resolution.
  • Keep customers informed regarding the status of open cases.
  • Respond to customer inquiries submitted through online support channels.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and benefits information.
  • Escalate recurring, technical, or unresolved issues when appropriate.
  • Navigate multiple computer applications while assisting customers.
  • Follow established procedures and service standards.
  • Meet attendance, productivity, quality, and customer service expectations.
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions.
  • Provide additional support during peak business periods.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of recent call center and/or employee benefits experience within the past 1–2 years.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional telephone and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and confidently.
  • Strong problem-solving and research skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced call center environment.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to work independently while following established procedures.

Training and Work Schedule

Paid training is conducted Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST.

Perfect attendance during training is required.

After training, candidates must have availability to work an assigned Monday–Friday schedule between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST. The final work schedule will be provided before the completion of training.
