Job description

Experienced Automotive Technician – Subaru Dealership

Pay: $26–$46 per flat-rate hour, based on experience and certifications
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team. We are a busy Subaru dealership with a strong customer base and are looking for a skilled, dependable technician who takes pride in diagnosing and repairing vehicles correctly.

The majority of the vehicles you'll work on will be Subaru models, but as a used vehicle dealership, we also service and recondition a variety of other makes and models. Subaru experience is a plus, but it is not required for the right experienced technician.

What We're Looking For
  • Approximately 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate environment
  • Comfortable performing everything from general maintenance and repairs to more involved diagnostic work
  • Ability to accurately document findings, repairs, and recommendations
  • Dependable, professional, and able to work well as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Must have your own professional automotive tools
  • ASE, manufacturer, or other industry certifications are a plus
Compensation

Flat-rate pay ranges from $26 to $46 per hour, depending on experience, training, and certifications.

We are interested in experienced technicians at different skill levels and will determine starting rate based on what you bring to the shop.

Benefits

Full-time employees have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Profit sharing
  • Paid holidays
  • PTO after one year of employment
  • Free online college opportunities through Strayer University
  • Manufacturer training and opportunities to expand your technical certifications
  • Monday–Friday full-time schedule
About the Position

This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician looking for a long-term home at a dealership where there is a variety of work and opportunities to continue developing their skills.

You'll primarily work on Subaru vehicles, while also seeing other makes and models through our used vehicle operation. We're looking for someone who can contribute to the shop, work well with the rest of the team, and consistently produce quality repairs.

If you have at least five years of automotive repair experience and are looking for a full-time technician position with competitive flat-rate pay and a strong benefits package, we'd like to talk with you.

Apply today with your resume and a brief summary of your automotive experience, certifications, and areas of expertise.
