Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor – Full-Time | 3:00 PM–11:00 PM / 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Salary: $45/hr
Type: Full-Time

The RN Supervisor will oversee clinical operations, provide leadership and support to the nursing team, and ensure exceptional resident care and regulatory compliance.

Schedule

  • Full-Time

  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Evening Shift

  • Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Participation in an on-call rotation

  • Schedule may vary based on facility needs

What You'll Do:

  • Supervise nursing staff and ensure continuity and quality of resident care

  • Serve as the clinical leader and primary point of contact for staff, residents, families, and physicians

  • Monitor resident care and ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and nursing standards

  • Respond quickly and effectively to clinical situations, emergencies, and changes in resident condition

  • Participate in the facility's on-call rotation and provide clinical support as needed

  • Support staffing coordination, shift assignments, documentation review, and effective shift handoffs

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to nursing staff while promoting a positive team environment

  • Collaborate with department leaders and administration regarding resident care and operational needs

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of clinical documentation and required reports

  • Promote infection prevention, resident safety, and quality-of-care standards

What You'll Bring:

  • Active Pennsylvania RN license required

  • Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

  • Prior RN supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred

  • Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions

  • Strong commitment to resident-centered care

  • Infection control certification preferred

  • Availability to participate in an on-call rotation
