Job description

The Sagamore Club is a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course. The course consists of 18 holes along with practice areas. We're looking for additional help on the maintenance of the golf course. The current hours of the job include 6:00 am-2:30 pm Monday-Thursday. 6:00-12:00 on Fridays along with weekend hours from 6:00-9:00. We are flexible in terms of picking up weekend shifts but would prefer to have this position work either Saturday or Sunday. Flexible with hours during weekdays if looking for 4-5 hours of work early in the morning, then leaving before lunch. The job consists of preparing the golf course each morning to give the membership a high level experience.

The tasks include everything from mowing tees, fairways, and greens to raking bunkers and changing cups.

Below outlines a few of the job responsibilities:
  • Mowing of general golf course areas, including tees, greens, driving range, edging, and repairing ball marks and divots.
  • Knowledge of golf and regulations preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of edgers, weed eaters, and mowers preferred but not required.
  • Bunker prep including raking, checking sand depths, and removal of grasses/weeds in bunkers.
