Job description

About the Role

High Plains Brew is growing, and we’re looking for a Traveling Trainer to join our New Store Opening (NSO) Team!

Our Traveling Trainers play an important role in bringing new 7 Brew stands to life. You’ll travel throughout the High Plains Brew network to support new stand openings, working directly alongside our NSO Team to train and develop new Brewistas and help build strong teams from day one.

This is a part-time, travel-based position. When not assigned to a New Store Opening, Traveling Trainers will work part-time at their designated home stand. During NSO travel assignments, Traveling Trainers should expect to work a full-time schedule for the duration of the assignment. Frequent regional travel and schedule flexibility are required.

This is a hands-on training role. You’ll spend your time in our stands coaching new team members, reinforcing operational standards, creating an engaging training environment, and helping teams build the confidence and skills they need to be successful after the NSO Team leaves.

This position is based out of Omaha, Nebraska and requires candidates to currently reside in Nebraska, Iowa, or South Dakota. Frequent travel throughout Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, and Illinois is required and will vary based on our new store opening schedule.

What You’ll Do

* Travel to new 7 Brew stand openings throughout the High Plains Brew network

* Train and coach new Brewistas throughout the NSO training process

* Provide hands-on support in drink building, guest experience, speed of service, operational standards, and stand routines

* Create an engaging, positive, and supportive training environment

* Give clear, constructive feedback and help team members build confidence

* Partner with NSO leadership and stand leadership throughout each opening

* Model 7 Brew culture and operational expectations

* Adapt your coaching style to different learning styles and experience levels

* Help identify opportunities for additional coaching and development

* Support the transition from NSO training into successful day-to-day stand operations

What We’re Looking For

* Strong communication, coaching, and people-development skills

* Someone who genuinely enjoys teaching and helping others succeed

* Ability to lead with positivity while still holding clear standards

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

* Ability to give and receive feedback

* Strong organization and time-management skills

* Flexibility to work varying schedules during new store openings

* Ability and willingness to travel frequently

* Previous training, leadership, food & beverage, retail, or hospitality experience preferred

* Experience with 7 Brew is a plus, but not required

What This Role Looks Like

This is not a traditional Monday-Friday training position. Traveling Trainers support new store openings, which means schedules and locations will change based on the NSO calendar. Candidates should be comfortable traveling regularly and working alongside teams in the stand throughout the opening process.

When not assigned to an NSO, Traveling Trainers maintain part-time hours at their designated home stand. During an NSO assignment, they transition to a full-time schedule for the duration of the assignment.
