Responsibilities
  • Set up and calibrate molds for plastics injection molding and extrusion machines to ensure optimal operation.
  • Operate and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to verify mold dimensions and finished parts meet specifications.
  • Handle materials safely using equipment, ensuring proper materials handling and storage.
  • Prevent downtime and ensure consistent production quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize mold setups and improve manufacturing processes following lean manufacturing principles.
  • Document setup procedures, inspection results, and machine adjustments accurately for quality control records.
