Job Summary
The Certified Mold Remediation Technician will perform mold inspections, remediation services, and moisture control solutions for residential and commercial customers. This role requires technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow industry and company protocols to ensure safe, high-quality results.
Responsibilities
  • Perform mold inspections, air quality assessments, and remediation following industry standards (IICRC, NORMI, EPA) and Green Home Solutions protocols.
  • Set up containment, operate HEPA air scrubbers and negative air machines, and perform detailed cleanup and restoration activities.
  • Identify moisture sources and recommend corrective solutions to prevent future growth.
  • Document job progress thoroughly, including photos, notes, and customer updates.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and represent Green Home Solutions professionally on every job.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in clean, working condition.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and environmental procedures.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Valid mold remediation certification (IICRC AMRT, NORMI, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of professional mold remediation experience.
  • Strong understanding of building science, moisture intrusion, and HVAC-related issues.
  • Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, confined areas, and lift 50+ lbs.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.

Preferred:
  • Additional certifications (WRT, IAQ, or related).
  • Experience using HEPA vacuums, negative air machines, moisture meters, and related equipment.
  • Background in restoration, construction, or environmental services.
