Job description

Job Summary:
This position has responsibility for a variety of manufacturing tasks such as assembly of product components, cable cutting, rubber transfer press molding, glass to metal sealing, chemical cleaning, polyurethane molding and more. To ensure success in this role you should possess a strong knowledge of product assembly and experience in a similar industry. Work cooperatively with all support areas, including all quality assurance functions, to achieve departmental and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform precision crimping of electrical connections in accordance with detailed procedures
  • Measure, cut, and coil cables to specified lengths based on work instructions
  • Prepared and lay out cable assemblies for final manufacturing and inspection
  • Clean, assemble, and prepare connectors and pins for glass seal operations
  • Operate sandblasting equipment to treat parts per established procedures
  • Prepared parts for two-part epoxy assembly by strictly following technical instructions and procedures
  • Assemble components into molds and injectmaterials (rubber and polyurethane)
  • Follow chemical clean line processes to properly clean parts
  • Follow instructions and prepare parts for two part epoxy assembly.
  • Mark and labeled parts using laser engraving machines
  • Assemble components according to detailed technical instructions and specifications
  • Develop fundemental skills in solder termination processes
  • Buff and prep parts using buffing equipment to meet quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Adhered to all company safety policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in hand crimping across a variety of contact styles
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and technical procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
  • Capable of multitasking effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs as required
