Senior Mold Maker
Position Overview:
US Conec is seeking a skilled Senior Mold Maker to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you'll complete maintenance, changeover and occasional repairs to injection molding tools.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs injection mold preventative maintenance and insert changes in support of production with diligence and accuracy.
- Maintains accurate log of preventative maintenance and insert changes.
- Identifies tooling deficiencies during preventative maintenance and notify Tooling Lead.
- Participates in root-cause analysis of tooling breakage and/or damage to assess corrective actions.
- Ensures a clean, organized, and safe work environment always.
- Leads creation, organization, and maintenance of TPI's, including work instructions, photo- documentation, historical logging, and revision control.
- Participates and lead tool room organization, including mold spare components, standard components (fasteners, pins, buy-outs).
- Identifies and elevates tool, equipment, and other infrastructure needs to the Tooling Lead.
- Provides support to production operations (Molding, Special Ops, Production) as needed or directed by supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized work area
Must Have's
- High school education/GED
- 8+ years of related experience in tooling/manufacturing environment.
- Experience with injection mold maintenance and repairs.
- Solid understanding of the injection molding process.
- Strong attention to detail and willing to listen and discuss in an open, positive manner.
- Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with limited direct supervision.
- Ability to work with quickly changing priorities and short deadlines.
- Ability to successfully communicate with internal and external customers.
- Experience with Hot Manifold systems Example: Mold Master, Manner, etc.
