Join GDIT as a Drupal Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative web solutions using Drupal, contributing to the development of both back-end and front-end processes, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

As a Drupal Developer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of CMS. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining CMS web applications, which assist in the fighting of healthcare fraud

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

  • Support Technical Lead in developing, enhancing, and maintaining both existing and new web applications (Drupal).

  • Develop and maintain Drupal websites, modules, and themes following best practices and coding standards.

  • Customize Drupal core functionality and contributed modules to meet project requirements.

  • Work on API integrations and custom solutions using PHP and Drupal services.

  • Implement responsive and user-friendly designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other frameworks.

  • Develop and optimize database structures using MySQL or equivalent database systems.

  • Work closely with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 2-3 years of experience in Drupal development (Drupal 10 preferred)

  • Experience with Drupal theming and module development.

  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.

  • Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.

  • Familiarity with cloud hosting services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

  • Experience using Visual Studio Code for writing, editing, and debugging.

  • Experience using Active Directory to organize, manage, and secure network resources.

  • Understanding of Agile development practices and tools (e.g., Jira/Confluence).

  • Relevant certifications in Drupal development are a plus.

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
