TheMCP Sales Manager - West Region (Modular Central Plant)is responsible for driving the sale of large, complex, bundled offerings to solution sales customers by promoting the Daikin Applied value proposition at a systemic level. The purpose of this position is to build effective relationships with owners, construction, purchasing, and consulting organizations resulting in new business development while balancing customer needs and financial challenges.

Location:Hybrid role including at least 50% regional travel visiting customers, office, and remote work. This position is based within the West Region, ideally near a Daikin Service Office such as Seattle, Denver, San Francisco, or Las Vegas.
Whatyou will do:

  • Sells Daikin Applied offerings confidently to building owner's and owner representatives at the C-level while reaching optimal profit levels. Focuses on demonstrating value at the executive level by providing solutions to business and financial challenges as well as working through gateways to achieve joint planning status.
  • Sells, renews, and expands renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing customers.
  • Demonstrates financial and business acumen to develop credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment with customers.
  • Differentiates Daikin Applied services and products from competitors based on business benefits and knowledge of competitor's business strategies.
  • Ensures the customer and Daikin Applied receive maximum value from dedicated resources. Engages appropriate sales, legal and financial resources where necessary.
  • Seeks out, targets and initiates contact with prospective customers. Develops network of contacts. Understands and leverages sales process checkpoints as well as demonstrates evidence of gaining small trial closes and commitments. Qualifies and assesses potential customers. Refers leads to other business segments.
  • Determines and implements selling strategy, proposal pricing, delivery estimates and scheduling and performance-based considerations.
  • Selects, prices, and integrates equipment, controls, and services for each project. Works with various internal and external resources to quote prices, establish terms and conditions of contracts, secure financing and prepare sales contracts, including project managers, legal and accounting teams, engineering firms, building contractors.
  • Focuses on building relationships with key stakeholders in the business.
  • Implements selling strategy, proposal pricing, delivery estimates and scheduling and performance-based considerations.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $114,000 to $188,000 in other states not listed below and from $125,000 to $207,000 in Denver, CO and from $137,000 to $226,000 in Seattle, WA and San Francisco, CA + a sales incentive target of $42,000. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
