The Senior Manager, Assortment Activation, leads the strategic planning and execution of modular and relay initiatives to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives. This role oversees resource management, operational standards, and cross-functional collaboration to drive consistent execution quality. By fostering continuous improvement and mentoring emerging leaders, the position supports business priorities through data-driven decision-making and process optimization. The role demands strong governance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination to deliver impactful results while upholding the highest standards of integrity and operational excellence.
About the team:
The Assortment Activation team collaborates with merchant stakeholders to optimize in-store space and item placement aligned with customer needs. This team leads effective assortment execution by managing resources, timelines, and evaluating modular performance to maximize space utilization and productivity. They provide strategic guidance, uphold execution standards, and drive continuous process improvements. Working cross-functionally, the team ensures clear, accurate assortments that support business priorities and enhance the shopping experience. Their focus on strategic planning, execution, and operational excellence enables consistent delivery of impactful results.
What you'll do:
  • Lead end-to-end planning, governance, and oversight of modular and relay initiatives to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
  • Manage portfolio capacity and resources, sequencing work to meet business rhythms and store readiness.
  • Establish and enforce execution standards and best practices, conducting post-implementation reviews to scale improvements.
  • Serve as a strategic liaison across Insights, Space, and Merchant teams to align decisions with execution realities.
  • Mentor managers and associates, fostering continuous learning and leadership development.
  • Drive process optimization, risk mitigation, and data-informed decision-making to support operational excellence.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
