In this role, you will lead the strategy, coordination, and execution of Booz Allen’s technology modernization work. As an IT Project Manager, Senior, you will guide multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex IT and business-modernization initiatives, ensuring projects translate the client's priorities into clear plans, measurable progress, and successful outcomes.

You will manage work orders and project roadmaps, oversee execution across technical and functional domains, and help shape repeatable delivery models that align modernization, process improvement, and enterprise technology adoption. You’ll build trusted working relationships with stakeholders, ensuring project plans, risks, and decisions are communicated clearly and acted on with urgency and precision.

In this role, you will drive coordination across engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, and business teams to ensure project integration, resolve issues proactively, and maintain alignment across various groups. You will support Booz Allen’s presence and performance by bringing structured project leadership, disciplined delivery, and a focus on impact—helping the client advance statewide technology capabilities through dependable execution and forward‑looking guidance.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with planning, initiating, and managing information technology ( IT ) projects, including business process modernization
  • 5+ years of experience with leading and guiding the work of technical and functional domain staff
  • Experience identifying risks and issues proactively, before they impact deadlines, standards, or cost targets
  • Experience with planning project stages and assessing business implications at each stage
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Experience navigating conflict among stakeholders or team members and resolving it directly
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Agile PMP, SAFe, or ITIL Certification
