Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
We are seeking a Corporate Development Manager based in the Columbus, OH area. In this global role you will lead and support our expanding efforts in Corporate Development and Mergers and Acquisitions with a focus on opportunities in North America.
  • Lead and support Corporate Development activities related to market, company, and technology assessments to identify growth opportunities and to shape the corporate and M&A strategy in cooperation with senior leadership.
  • Liaise and forge strong relationships with potential cooperation partners and acquisition targets to drive business expansion.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams through the M&A process including due diligence, financial modelling and valuations, preparation of internal approvals, offer and contract negotiations, integration planning and monitoring.
  • Monitor M&A market trends and best practices to continuously advance M&A practices, processes and tools including AI.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, business administration, engineering, or natural sciences; an MBA degree is a plus.
  • At least 4 years' practical experience in leading entire acquisition projects including due diligence, financial modelling and valuations, preparation of internal approvals, offer and contract negotiations, integration planning and monitoring, working with senior leadership and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Several years of experience in corporate development, management consulting, investment banking, private equity, product management or a related field; several years of experience in industrial companies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and being at ease dealing with large amounts of information and data.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Approximately 25% domestic and limited international travel
