Job description

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Model Validation 2nd LOD Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location. DUTIES: Support the Model Risk Management Framework, including policy, processes, and procedures the firm uses to identify, measure, monitor, report, and control model risk across the firm

Develop and enhance, model risk governance and control process. Apply quantitative and analytical techniques to support systematic risk assessment and mitigation. Contribute to the organization's financial stability by strengthening risk measurement frameworks, protecting assets, and supporting overall business strategy.

Develop executive level presentation materials that clearly communicate model risk findings and support senior management decision making. Coordinate the Model and AI Non-Model Inventory Assurance Review, facilitating executive attestations on the completeness and accuracy of Citi's model and AI non-model object inventory and partnering with teams across firm organizations, including leadership stakeholders. Drive model and AI non-model object identification and retirement processes, aligned with the Citi Model Risk Management Policy.

Maintain tracking for the model identification process in which businesses and functions submit potential models (including AI objects) to MRM for determination and, when confirmed, inclusion in the model inventory. Perform model retirement analysis focused on trends and drivers of this such as replacements and divestitures as well as controls to ensure compliance with MRM Policy. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation, and safeguard Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, and rules and regulations.

Adhere to Policy, apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating and reporting control issues with transparency. Communicate results to diverse audiences. Conduct analysis, package it into detailed technical documentation, and report it for validation purposes sufficient to meet regulatory guidelines and exceed industry standards.

Identify governance and control process enhancement opportunities that yield measurable business results. Anticipate problems and proactively identify solutions that address the root causes and result in meaningful improvements. Perform policy breach root cause analysis which requires coordination with Seniors across all firm's businesses and functions to obtain policy breaches remediation plans as well as preventive actions.

A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related quantitative occupation performing risk analysis and modeling. Six (6) years of experience must include: Conducting quantitative and qualitative risk analyses to evaluate model documentation, assess evidence quality, analyze risk trends, and identify control gaps/enhancement opportunities; Performing accurate risk assessment and providing appropriate guidance to stakeholders to comply with governance standards and regulatory expectations; Performing end-to-end governance workflows by tracking model submissions, monitoring process aging, and validating consistency in model/notamodel determinations; Coordinating multi-stakeholder review processes to complete risk control reviews, evidence submissions, and governance deliverables; and Conducting critical analysis and risk management of the model and AI non-model object inventory ensuring compliance with local and U.S
