Job description

We are seeking a Plant Modeling and Simulation Engineer to develop, validate, and maintain high-quality plant models supporting XIL, virtual validation, and system integration activities. This role focuses on building scalable, reusable models across multiple vehicle domains and ensuring alignment with system-level requirements and verification workflows.
The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams including system design, architecture, controls, and testing organizations to enable efficient virtual development and validation using model-based techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
Plant Model Development
  • Develop and maintain 0D/1D plant models representing physical systems (e.g., propulsion, chassis, ADAS, infotainment).
  • Ensure models meet appropriate fidelity levels depending on development phase (concept, design, integration, validation).
  • Perform model validation and correlation against requirements and test data.
  • Support model reduction and optimization for simulation efficiency.

Model-Based Development Support
  • Integrate plant models into XIL workflows and environments.
  • Support virtual testing, requirement validation, and system verification activities.
  • Collaborate with controls and system engineers to ensure alignment between plant models and control strategies.

  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar modeling tools
