  • Utilizes advanced engineering methods including mathematical models, simulation, and statistics to develop optimal process designs and efficient resource utilization.

  • Analyzes and designs value stream including capability, capacity, throughput, work flow, and logistics.

  • Applies experience with MESci, Aurora, and constraints-based scheduling.

  • Supports the SLS program with industrial engineering analysis and project management.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master 3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

  • ABET accredited degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.

  • Experience with MESci (Manufacturing Execution System).

  • Experience with Aurora for scheduling and planning.

  • Experience with constraints-based scheduling techniques.

  • Experience developing models, databases, and spreadsheets for data analysis.

  • Experience applying Lean and Industrial Engineering concepts for process improvement.

  • Experience using project management tools including work break-down structure, precedence network, and resource allocation.
