Overview:
Senior Business Domain Data Modeler (773543)
Local to Atlanta GA
Hybrid: Candidate MUST be on-site every 4th Wednesday of the month.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Senior Business Domain Data Modeler will, at minimum, perform the following:
โ€ข Implement and maintain data models that accurately represent business requirements.
โ€ข Enhance existing data models to improve efficiency, data quality and user-friendliness.
โ€ข Perform regular data reconciliation tasks to identify and resolve discrepancies between different data sources.
โ€ข Monitor, assess, and improve data quality to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness.
โ€ข Implement and validate business rules to ensure compliance with organizational policies and objectives.
โ€ข Ensure that all business rules and logic changes are reflected accurately across the data architecture.
โ€ข Test and validate any changes made to data logic to ensure correctness and consistency using Validatar tool.
โ€ข Identify and implement opportunities for data enhancements to improve data quality and efficiency.
โ€ข Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all data processes, changes and enhancements.
โ€ข Assist with the design and modification of the EASE Data Warehouse Solution
โ€ข Create and optimize data models to support health information analytics
โ€ข Collaborate with the Analytics Manager, Data Scientists and EASE uses to develop and design
โ€ข Information Marts to support self-service for business queries and data visualization
โ€ข Create documentation and/or training materials for new users
โ€ข Provide operational support for Business Intelligence Tools
Minimum Qualifications
โ€ข At least 5 years of Data warehouse modeling experience
โ€ข Cloud Architecture skills
โ€ข 3 years of SQL experience
โ€ข 2 years of WhereScape RED and 3D experience
โ€ข 1 year of Snowflake experience
โ€ข BA or BS in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
โ€ข Extremely strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Excellent speaking and writing skills
โ€ข Attention to detail
โ€ข High personal and professional integrity
โ€ข Collaborate well with a team
โ€ข Manages time well
โ€ข Familiarity with WhereScape, Validatar, Snowflake, Jira, Confluence, BOX, Amazon Web Services, Tableau.
