Job Title: Chassis Systems Designer (Automotive / Motorcycle Platforms)
Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Chassis Systems Designer to support the development of motorcycle and parts & accessories programs across. The role involves end-to-end design support including CAD modeling, drawing creation, supplier collaboration, tolerance analysis, and validation activities. The designer will work closely with engineering teams, program management, and suppliers in a fast-paced product development environment.

Key Responsibilities
โข Design and develop plastic, soft foam, and metallic components for chassis systems
โข Create and update 3D CAD models, assemblies, and complex surfaces using Creo
โข Generate and modify engineering drawings aligned to project requirements
โข Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and bolted joint calculations
โข Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers for design and material changes
โข Support mock-up builds, physical validation, and part inspection activities
โข Review and support PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and validation
โข Manage engineering change activities (ECR/ECA/ECN) using PLM tools such as Windchill
โข Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and cross-functional meetings
โข Provide status updates, reports, and support project tracking activities

Must-Have Skills
โข Strong experience in CAD design using Creo
โข Knowledge of plastic, sheet metal, and soft material design principles
โข Experience in tolerance stack-up and GD&T
โข Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
โข Exposure to PLM systems (Windchill preferred)
โข Hands-on experience in product development and validation cycles
โข Ability to work with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams
โข Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

โข Experience in motorcycle or automotive chassis systems
โข Familiarity with PPAP, APQP processes
โข Exposure to mock-up builds and physical validation testing

Experience
โข 3โ8 years of relevant experience in mechanical design / automotive design
โข Prior experience in automotive, motorcycle, or mobility domain preferred
โข Experience working in OEM / Tier-1 / Engineering services organizations is advantageous

Educational Qualification
โข Bachelorโs degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering / Product Design
โข Masterโs degree is a plus (optional)
