The Role
Join our dynamic team as an ADMS Network Model Engineering Tean Manager, where you will play a key role in delivering complex projects focused on DMS, OMS, DERMS, and other advanced power engineering applications. In this role, you will manage a team of model engineers responsible for delivering high-quality ETL processes that translate customer data into formats required by Emerson software.
Beyond overseeing project-specific modeling activities, you will lead planning efforts for upcoming engagements, define and validate the effort required to deliver outcomes on a timely basis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements in model delivery processes. As a U.S. modeling team manager, you will be part of a global modeling organization, where you will have opportunities to support peers and collaborate on strategic initiatives that help redefine network model delivery practices.
Your Impact
  • Directly manage a group of model engineers, helping to maximize their performance and enable their professional growth
  • Track modelers' engagement, trim engagement inefficiencies rebalancing engagement across entire project portfolio
  • Work with other engineering teams, ensuring cohesion across all active projects.
  • Engage with the development offering insight into improvements benefiting data model processes.
  • Develop standard processes, templates, checklists, and other documents to be used by all model engineers globally, ensuring consistent and repeatable model engineering practices
    - Contribute to project work as necessary.

What You'll Need
  • Deep proficiency in OSI technology, especially around data model development with an excellent ability to support and coach less experienced engineers.
  • Strong leadership traits, bringing together individuals across multiple teams and fostering cooperation and kinship.
  • Strong drive to inject consistent processes, and a propensity towards creating and maintaining artifacts improving individual and team performance.
  • Detail-oriented and creative problem solver.
  • Comfortable navigating and prioritizing unexpected technical challenges.
    This role reports to the Power System Engineering Director and offers a unique opportunity to collaborate across functional teams enabling you to grow and improve Data Model management processes.

The salary range for this role is $139,900.00 - $174,900.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
