The Manager, Charging Validation will lead strategic initiatives across charging validation functions, supporting charging validation features, including in-vehicle software validation, mobile application validation, and end-to-end feature validation. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, operational excellence, and scalability across validation domains. The position requires a visionary leader who can align cross-functional teams, set high standards, attract top talent, and ensure seamless collaboration to meet business objectives.

The Role:

  • Define and evolve the Charging validation strategy for in-vehicle software validation, mobile application validation, and end-to-end feature validation.
  • Lead efforts to optimize test plans and feature validation, including maturity.
  • Oversee charging validation team test cases, work cross-functionally to identify risks and opportunities for product integrity and user experience.
  • Plan and execute system-level test cases related to the Charging domain 
  • Perform and collaborate on tests on vehicles across all the models and markets. 
  • Analyze test data to verify system behavior, troubleshoot issues, and raise bug tickets.
  • Clearly communicate test results, collaborate with stakeholders globally to discuss issues detected, and work on the next action plan. 
  • Traveling for testing purposes to support end-to-end Charging Validation
  • Triaging bugs and serving as the primary interface to issues encountered in the field

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of automotive embedded testing experience.
  • Good knowledge on EV Charging architecture, On-Board charger, Off-Board charger.
  • Hands on Experience in UDS, CAN and Ethernet protocols.
  • Hands-on experience in Automotive testing tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, CANstress, WireShark.

Education Requirements:

  • BS minimum in the areas of Computer Science or related fields, MS preferred
