Job description

Job Description:
We are seeking an Azure Engineer with hands-on experience in deploying and operating AI agents using Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in identity management, Azure DevOps, and intermediate-level Python and SQL, along with experience in Azure MCP (Model Context Protocol) for building secure, scalable AI agent solutions.
You will work closely with product, engineering, and security teams to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-ready AI agents that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and workflows.
Key responsibilities
  • Design, build, deploy, and manage AI agents using Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio
  • Implement and configure Copilot Studio agents for business workflows, automation, and user interactions
  • Leverage Azure MCP (Model Context Protocol) to enable secure context sharing, orchestration, and tool integration for AI agents
  • Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, and data sources
  • Implement identity and access management (IAM) using Azure AD (Entra ID), managed identities, RBAC, and OAuth flows
  • Work with Azure DevOps to:
    • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines
    • Manage source control, builds, and releases
  • Automate infrastructure and deployment workflows
  • Develop and maintain backend logic and integrations using Python (intermediate proficiency)
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data access, analytics, and agent context enrichment
  • Monitor, debug, and optimize AI agent performance, reliability, and cost
  • Ensure security, compliance, and responsible AI practices are followed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into AI-driven solutions
  • Maintain technical documentation and deployment guidelines

Key competencies
Essential skills
  • Hands-on experience deploying AI agents using Azure AI Foundry
  • Experience building and managing agents in Copilot Studio
  • Experience with Azure MCP (Model Context Protocol) for AI agent architectures
  • Strong understanding of Identity Management:
    • Azure AD (Entra ID)
    • Managed identities
    • Authentication & authorization concepts
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, CI/CD)
  • Intermediate experience in Python for backend logic, integrations, and automation
  • Intermediate experience in SQL, including performance tuning and complex queries
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and service integrations
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Clear communication and documentation skills
  • Proactive mindset with attention to detail

  • Experience with Azure services such as:
    • Azure Functions
