We are looking for agents to securely act across enterprise systems and workflows. This role will focus on designing and building the technical integrations, service interfaces, and control patterns that allow AI agents to communicate with one another and interact safely with Boeing systems, data, and enterprise applications. Working closely with architects, developers, security partners, and business stakeholders, this individual will help turn agentic AI concepts into dependable, production-ready capabilities.
This position requires strong software development skills, a solid understanding of enterprise integration, and the ability to work in fast-paced, short-duration engagements. The work will involve building and testing complex code, supporting application design decisions, resolving technical issues, and ensuring solutions align with enterprise requirements for security, reliability, and maintainability. This is a hands-on technical role suited for someone who enjoys solving complex integration challenges and helping build the connective tissue that allows agentic AI to operate effectively across Boeing's digital environment.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, test, and implement software components that enable secure agent-to-agent communication and enterprise system interaction

  • Build integrations that support Model Context Protocol-based connectivity between agents, tools, and enterprise services

  • Analyze business and technical requirements to define secure and reliable agent interaction patterns

  • Develop application logic, APIs, and supporting components for agent orchestration and enterprise workflow execution

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex programming, integration, and application design issues

  • Collaborate with architects and security partners to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for access, control, and auditability

  • Modify and enhance existing applications to support agentic AI capabilities and enterprise interoperability

  • Document code, integration patterns, and technical solutions for maintainability and handoff

  • Recommend improvements to system architecture, integration design, and development practices

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in software/application development process, including productionizing and deployment

  • 5+ years of experience with Cloud native development

  • 5+ years of experience with application integration, APIs and Microservices

  • 5+ years of experience with system architecture

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Information Systems or a closely related field

  • Experience with agentic AI systems, agent orchestration, or secure AI workflow design

  • Experience with Agent-to-Agent communication patterns or Model Context Protocol implementations

  • Experience building integrations across enterprise applications, cloud services, or APIs

  • Experience with secure access patterns, identity management, or authorization frameworks

  • Experience working in agile delivery environments with frequent prioritization changes

  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale systems in a complex organizational environment

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in application, integration, or runtime issues

  • Experience with modern programming languages and software development frameworks

  • Experience with production support, deployment processes, and software documentation practices

  • Experience with strong collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
