Job Title: Model-Based Design Engineer – EV Systems (MATLAB/Simulink)
Location: Evans GA (onsite)
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)

 

 

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced EV Model-Based Design Engineer with a strong background in MATLAB/Simulink, Model-Based Design, and Autocode Generation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and validating models for electric vehicle systems, including powertrains, battery management, and thermal systems.

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink, Model-Based Design, and Autocode Generation (mandatory).
  • Experience developing high-fidelity models for EV powertrains, battery packs, and thermal management systems.
  • Knowledge of control strategy development for EV powertrains, Battery Management Systems (BMS), and SOC/SOH estimation.
  • Understanding of lithium-ion battery chemistry, degradation mechanisms, and thermal behavior.
  • Experience in automotive or electric vehicle (EV) product development is preferred. Candidates with relevant automotive experience outside EVs will also be considered.
